The delivery of this event further demonstrated the UK’s commitment to supporting Qatar National Vision 2030 and Qatar’s National Health Strategy 2018-2022, and saw 22 influential UK speakers from leading research institutions and government departments travelling to Doha for the two days.

The forum engaged both the academic community and healthcare providers alike, promoting the transfer of knowledge and innovation in health research. It was also an opportunity to strengthen ties between Qatar and the UK to jointly address global health challenges. In addition to the invited speakers, the event was open to academics and representatives from key health research partners across Qatar and the UK.
