Stan Zammit is Professor of Psychiatric Epidemiology at the Centre for Academic Mental Health at the University of Bristol, and leads the mental health theme of the NIHR Bristol Biomedical Research Centre.
He also holds a joint appointment as Professor of Psychiatric Epidemiology at Cardiff University, and works as a clinician in the Cardiff Traumatic Stress Service, providing trauma-focused psychological therapy for people with post-traumatic stress disorder. His research focuses on the role of trauma in the aetiology of psychosis and the overlap between psychotic disorders and complex-PTSD.
