Our priority is to create the data infrastructure to enable analysis of linked administrative and research data at a large scale.

Our approach must be acceptable to the public. The infrastructure we create will allow data to be analysed in a safe and efficient way, ensuring confidentiality and security.

Our ambition is to extend this infrastructure beyond our local Integrated Care System (ICS). We want to include all seven ICSs in Southwest England, covering a population of 5 million citizens.

This data resource will support many projects aiming to discover actionable insights that lead to better care and health. We will work with the public and researchers from our other themes to agree specific projects.
