About this event

The Charter on Anti-Racist Co-Production results from extensive collaborative efforts by a diverse group of academics, activists, and community stakeholders dedicated to establishing equitable and anti-racist practices in research. The Research Action Coalition for Race Equality seeks to establish a research framework that promotes inclusive practices, combats systemic discrimination, and fosters the independent intellectual capacity-building of communities. In launching the Charter, it is hoped that it will be used by academics, community organisations, and researchers, in general, to understand better and engage with marginalised communities by encouraging the fostering of autonomy, transparency, power-sharing and collaboration.
