About the event

Annie Herbert will be sharing what she’s found so far from her research, which looks at how millennials – people born in the 1990s – go through key life steps like moving out of their parents’ home, and what this means for their health.

She’s also developing ideas for a new project that will look at job insecurity among generation Z – the youngest adults today – and how this might affect their mental health in the future.

Our speaker

Dr Annie Herbert has a background in statistics and working with large datasets. For about 15 years she’s been doing research focused on young adults, looking at things like childhood difficulties, unemployment, gambling, and how these social challenges affect young adult health.
