Researcher coffee catch-up: Increasing HIV testing

  • 10 May 2024
  • 11:00am - 12:00pm
  • Online

About the event

HIV can affect anyone. People with undiagnosed HIV may not realise that they have HIV until they become really ill.

This project aims to increase HIV testing in general practice by introducing an opt out policy. This means that people could be tested for HIV when they have a blood test for any other reason, unless they opt out. We want to know what people think about an opt out policy for HIV testing in general practice.
