Natalie Blencowe is a Professor in Surgery and MRC Clinician Scientist at the University of Bristol, Royal College of Surgeons Linder Foundation Associate Professor in Clinical Trials, and consultant Upper GI surgeon at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust.
She is deputy lead and a workstream lead in our surgical and orthopaedic innovation theme.
Natalie co-founded the Severn and Peninsula Audit and Research Collaborative for Surgeons (SPARCS). She is particularly interested in developing methods for optimising the quality assurance of surgical interventions and understanding how innovative procedures evolve and are adopted into clinical practice.
