The BRIST-IVF study is investigating factors associated with the success of IVF treatment.
We are recruiting women, and their partners, undergoing IVF treatment at the Bristol Centre for Reproductive Medicine (BCRM). We are asking participants to answer a short questionnaire, have height, weight and blood pressure measured, and provide urine and blood or saliva samples.
We are also inviting individuals and couples who become pregnant following IVF treatment to attend pregnancy clinics at the University of Bristol. This will help us to understand more about the impact of IVF treatment on short and longer term outcomes on women, their partners and children conceived via IVF.
The study is led by Professor Debbie Lawlor, Dr Amy Taylor and Taemi Kawahara at the University of Bristol, and Dr Valentine Akande at the BCRM.
